If you are a fan of the TV series The Biggest Loser then you are well aware of who Jillian Michaels is. Jillian is the queen of fitness and can be found on the cover of just about every fitness magazine, video game cover, weightloss pill, yeah she is just about everywhere. Watching her on TV I suspect she would be an easy person to hate, because she says it like it is. In fact before I started watching The Biggest Loser on Netflix all these season later, I could not stand her, a prejudged her because I thought she was one of those TV phonies. But now she is on my list on top 10 people I want to have a cup of coffee with.
I just picked up her book Master Your Metabolism maybe about a week ago and finished it today. The audio book of course. I love listening to fitness books in the gym. The great thing about this audio book is that it’s read by Jillian and all her passion comes out in the words she reads.
It was an eye opener to say the least, she goes through all the things we need to avoid in great detail including what they can be doing to our bodies. Then she cover the best foods we should be eating and why. This book is more than weight loss it’s about removing that bad things in our lives including people that may be causing both physical and mental issues. What I loved about the book was that Jillian explains that being healthy is so much more that your waistline, it’s everything including your mental attitude.
This is a fantastic book and a must read if you are at all interested in living a new healthy lifestyle.
